Allylbromide on dehydrobromination gives? How do we know if it is propdiene or propylene?

Dear student,
Allyl bromide on dehydrobromination yields propdiene, since on dehydrobromination a double bond will be introduced which will convert the molecule into allene system or in other words propadiene.

Propylene has only one double bond hence not possible.

Hope it helps.,
