Among two supplementary angles the measure of the larger angle is 44 degrees more than the measure of the smaller. Find their measures.

let the smaller angle wil be x

its larger angle will be 44o+ x

A/q the equation will be 44o+ x + x =180o

=> 44o + x+ x = 180o

=> 44o + 2x = 180o

=> 2x  = 180o + 44o

=>  2x  = 136o

=> x  = 136o/2

=>  x  =68o

so, the measure of smaller angle is  68o

the measure of larger angle is 44o + 68o = 112o

112 degree...

x+x+44=180
2x+44= 180
2x+44-44=180-44
2x=136
2x/2=136/2
x=68
68+44=112
The measure of larger measure is 112
and measure of smaller is 68
68,112

Let. the smaller angle be. x
The bigger angle will be = (x + 44)
ATQ ( according to question ), the equation is : x + ( x + 44 )
  2x + 44 = 180
          2x = 180-44
          2x = 136
            x = 136
                    2
            x = 68
So, the smaller angle is 68 and,
The bigger angle is (x+44) 112.

Hope it was helpful :)

This answer might surely help you. Let first angle be x. Then other angle would be 44°+ x As we know that the sum of two supplement angles is = 180° x+(44°+x) = 180° x + 44° + x = 180° 2x + 44° = 180° 2x = 180 ° - 44° 2x = 136° x = 136/2 x = 68° x + 44° = 68°+44° x + 44°= 112° The measures of the angles are as follows x= 68 which is the first angle x+44° = 112° which is the second angle Hope this answer might help u s bit much. If it helps then plz like it. My answer could help you and your thanks could encourage me.
