Sales revenue is income which company earns exclusively from sale of goods and services. It is the amount of income from goods and services before deducting any expenses. It is generally calculated over a consistent period, such as a financial quarter or year.It is the amount which is received Hence it is a revenue.
Cost of sales refers to cost calculated on amount of goods which are sold. It includes both direct cost and indirect cost related to the sales of goods and services. It is also called cost of Revenue hence this is a expense for the firm. Regards
