From first triangle,

$\tan 60 = \frac{200}{x} \sqrt{3} = \frac{200}{x} x = \frac{200}{\sqrt{3}} m$

From second triangle,

$\tan 45 = \frac{200}{y} 1 = \frac{200}{y} y = 200$

Width of the river=x+y= $\frac{200}{\sqrt{3}} + 200 = 200 (\frac{1}{\sqrt{3}} + 1) = \frac{200 (1 + \sqrt{3})}{\sqrt{3}} m$
