So we have,

$P (E) = \frac{2}{5} P (P) = 1 - \frac{4}{7} = \frac{3}{7} P (E \cup P) = \frac{2}{3}$

We need to find $P (E \cap P)$

So,

$P (E \cap P) = P (E) + P (P) - P (E \cup P) = \frac{2}{5} + \frac{3}{7} - \frac{2}{3} = \frac{17}{105}$
