(a) Heater
(b) Electric bulb

Resistance of Heater and Electric bulb is,

$P = \frac{V^{2}}{R} o r, R = \frac{V^{2}}{P} R_{H} = \frac{220^{2}}{500} = 96.8 Ω R_{B} = \frac{220^{2}}{100} = 484 Ω$

Total resistance of the circuit = 580.8 Ω

Now, current through the circuit, I = V/R = 220/580.8 = 0.38 A

Power of the system, P = VI = 83.6 W

Voltage drop across heater and bulb,

$V_{H} = 220 \times \frac{96.8}{580.8} = 36.67 V V_{B} = 220 \times \frac{484}{580.8} = 183.33 V Now power across heater, P_{H} = V_{H} I = 36.67 \times 0.38 = 13.93 W Power across bulb, P_{B} = V_{B} I = 183.33 \times 0.38 = 69.67 W$
