An equilateral triangle has a centroid at the origin and one side is x+y=1. The equation of the other sides are_______.

umm see as it is an equilateral triangle...so all angle is 60 deg.

given one side's eqn x+y=1...so slope,m1=-1

take the adjcent side.....

so by using angle between two line formula...find the slope of the side

u know tan60 and u know m1 so u cqn easily find m2

try to find vertex.....i have given u a small.hint

similarly,second side

i think u get it..........

And an equilateral trianglea median is an altitude.....so u can find altitude equation...by taking the base as x+y=1..solving d equatipns we ll get the base mid point.....now we knw centroid....is dividing a median in ratio 2:1....so u can find the vertex...on the upper side of the altitude by using section formula...Now u got the vertex.....and u have the slopes of two sides.....frame the equation
