# An isosceles trapezoid has base angels of 120°. What is the measure in each of the other angles of the trapezoid?

Dear Student,

We form our isosceles trapezium from given information , As :

As given trapezium is isosceles so adjacent angles along with parallel side are equal to each other , So

$\angle$ BAD = $\angle$ ABC = 120$°$

We know adjacent angles ( Along with non parallel sides ) are supplementary in trapezium , So

$\angle$ BAD + $\angle$ CDA = 180$°$  , Substitute value from given diagram we get :

120$°$  + $\angle$ CDA = 180$°$ ,

$\angle$ CDA = 60$°$

And

$\angle$ ABC + $\angle$ DCB = 180$°$  , Substitute value from given diagram we get :

120$°$  + $\angle$ DCB = 180$°$ ,

$\angle$ DCB = 60$°$

Therefore,

Other angles of given trapezium  =  120$°$  , 60$°$ and 60$°$                                              ( Ans )
