An object is dropped from a height of 120m. The acceleration of the object is 10m/s2  downwards. Find the distance travelled by the object after (a)1s (b)2s and (c) 3s. What is the vilocity of the object after 3s?

 s = ut+1/2*a*t*t

The Object Is Dropped Hence Initial Velocity = 0

s = 1/2*10*t*t = 5*t*t

(a) Distance Travelled After 1 second = 5*1*1 = 5 m

(b) Distance Travelled After 2 Second = 5*2*2 = 20 m

(c) Distance Travelled After 3 Second = 5*3*3 = 45 m

(d) Velocity After 3 Second

v = u+at

Again Initial Velocity = 0

v = at

v = 10*3 = 30 m/sec
