Distance travelled in 2.5 s:s1=ut+12at2    =02.5+1242.52    =12.5 mDistance travelled in 2.0 s:s2=ut+12at2    =02.0+1242.02    =8 mDistance travelled in 5th half second, that is, 2.5th second:s=s1-s2  =12.5 - 8   =4.5 m

Hence: The object travelled adistance of 4.5 meter in 5th half second.
