Analyse the events following the death of albatross. What do they reveal about the conduct of mariner himself and other mariners?

After killing the Albatross, the Mariner was punished for killing the friendly bird that brought them the good weather.As the ship continued to sail the good weather remained but there was no bird that came.Later as the ship made its way out of the fog and mist they held held the bird responsible for their unfortunate,Consequently the wind stopped and the so the ship too,it was literally like a painting they were standing so still.
So the basic conduct is that  the one who commits crime as well as people who are crime praising are punished

The Mariners, sailors and his friends have a wonderful journey aboard on a ship till a storm overtakes them. The storm leads the ship to new lands of snow and fog. Everything seemed lost when as if by godsent an albatross pieces itself on the ship. It becomes friendly with the mariners and, as if the luck was with them, eventually the ship find its course towards a brighter land. Everybody considers the bird a lucky charm. but turn selfish fearing the it might finish their food stock. The ancient mariner is instigated to shoot the bird with an arrow. Then tragedy befalls on them and the ship as the ship gets stuck in the mid-ocean. With scorching heat, everything dries up including the stock of drinking water and the crew starts dying one by one. This shows that the Mariner was driven with selfish motives and was also instigated by others.
