All animals that hibernate eat a lot before hibernation and store it in their body because they have to hibernate for a long time means they will not eat anything during that time, their body will need energy for survival which they get from the stored food.

 BECAUSE IF THEY WILL NOT EAT A LOT BEFORE HIBERNATION THEY WILL GET UP IN BETWEEN THEIR SLEEP AND IF THEY GET UP IN BETWEEN THEIR SLEEP THEN THEY WILL BE VERY VERY FURIOUS.
