first convert the numbers to fractional form like 16/20 and 42/50 take out their decimals LCM (20 and 50 = 5 x 2 x 2 x 5 = 1000) then,write like 16 x 5 = 80 42 x 20 = 840 now compare 80 < 840 20 x 5 =1000 50 x 20 = 1000 1000 1000
then you will get the answer.
