If Covariance between two variables X and Y is 8 and Variance Of X and Y are respectively 25 and 36, Find the correlation coefficient. Q2. Name any two measures Of dispersion that are based upon deviations Of value from average. Q3. The sum of deviations of a certain number of items measured from 4 is 72 and sum of deviations of the items from 7 is -3. Find the number Of items ? Q4. Convert the fouo;ving into "more than"cumulative frequency: Marks (less 5 than) Cumulative 12 frequen 10 25 15 35 20 55 Q5. Prepare a frequency distribution by inclusive method taking class interval of 7: OR Draw a percentage Bar diagram for the following data: Year 2009 2010 2011t 40 80 170 10 120 250 Total 750 250 330 D 35 300 400 Q6. In a town 25% of the persons earned more than 45,000/. whereas 75% earned more than 18,000/-. Calculate Absolute and relative measures Of Dispersion. Q7. Discuss Sampling and Non-Sampling Errors.

Dear Student,
Q3.
Let "n" be the required number of observations.
Σ(x i - 4)  =  72, therefore,  Σxi - 4n  =  72 ....... (1)
And,
Σ(xi - 7)  =  -3, therefore,   Σxi - 7n  =  -3  ........  (2)
Subtracting the above two equations we get,
3n = 75
n  =  25
Q2.
Standard deviation and mean deviation are the two methods of dispersion.
