Statistics is the science of collecting, representing, and analysis of data. For example, the Census of India is a statistical activity. Census is carried every 10 years and it involves the collection of data, by going into each house and registering their names etc.It also involver compiling and presentation of data. Ultimately, the concerned officials analyze the trend of composition and quantity of population.
