Answer should be a as it is matching with ncert line but its c why ??? llum If • inhale normally without any extra 10S effort after a forceful exhalation. volumes Will inhalcd (1) TN. IRV (2) TV • IRV (4) TV ERV

Dear student

Option 3 is correct

It is mentioned in question that pulmonary volume that can be inhaled.
Tidal volume(TV) is the amount of air that can be inhaled or exhaled during one respiratory cycle.
Inspiratory reserve volume(IRV) is the amount of air that can be forcibly inhaled after a normal tidal volume.
Expiratory reserve volume(ERV) is the volume of air that can be exhaled forcibly after exhalation of normal tidal volume.so it is exhaled but not inhaled.
So pulmonary volume that can be inhaled is only TV+IRV. but not the ERV which is exhaled.
