I) F is pressent in 3rd period and 2nd group. Thus its electronic configuration is 2,8,2. The element is Mg.
ii) Valence electrons is no. of electrons present in valence shell. Thus it has 2 valence electrons.
iii) C is present in 4th period. Thus it has 4 shells.
iv) On moving down the group, atomic size increases as a new shell is added. Thus the atomic size is in the order as H>G>F>E
v) F is present in 2nd group, it has 2 valence electrons, so to acheive noble gas configuration it loses 2 electrons. thus it is a metal.
vi) C and D are in group 1 and G and H are in group 2 of the modern periodic table.
