Answer the 1. A,b,and c

Dear student,
a.
Some of the aquatic plants have large air cavities in the parenchyma cell that provides buoyancy to the plants and help the plants to float on the water.
This type of parenchyma cell that provides buoyancy is known as aerenchyma.

b.
The waxy coating on the leaves helps to prevent the stomata from clogging and wetting, so it overall helps the plant to stand the decaying effect of the water.
