Q.11. Find the area of an isosceles triangle whose equal sides are 12 cm each and the perimeter is 30 cm.

Here two equal sides of triangle = a = b = 12 cm
And perimeter of triangle = 30 cm
Then third side of triangle is, c = 30-a+b = 30-12+12 = 6 cm
Then, semi-perimeter of triangle; s = 302 = 15 cm
So using heron's formula we have;
