Answer the 3 Rd question completly

Solution:

Ans.
A: Endosmosis
When blood cells are placed in pure water then red blood cells burst. This is because of osmosis. Cell membrane of the cell act as semi permeable membrane. Water from high concentration of water (pure water) move to low concentration region of water (blood cells) through cell membrane. The pressure inside the cell increases which causes bursting of cell.

B: Exosmosis
When RBC is kept in concentrated salt solution, it will shrink. As the concentration of saline solution is higher than the concentration inside the cell. Thus, water will move outside the cytoplasm and the cell will shrink.

When RBC's are placed in hypertonic solution, the cells will shrink due to movement of water out of the cell, it will lead to shrinking of RBC's due to plasmolysis.
