Q.3. In the figure given, ABCD is a parallelogram. Find the value of x, y, z.

Hi,
We know that opposite sides of a parallelogram have to be equal so here
AB = CD
So 2x + 2 = 3x - 1
2 + 1 = 3x - 2x
 3 = x
Hence  x = 3
In case of parallelogram, adjacent angles get added to 180
So angle A +angle D = 180
So Z + 50 + 102 = 180
Z = 180 - 152 = 28 degree


y is not there in the figure

==> 3 = x
So x = 3
IN case of parallelogram, adjacent angles get added to 180
So Z + 50 + 102 = 180
==> Z = 180 - 152 = 28 degree
Seems y is not anywhere in the figure
