As the object is placed to the left of the mirror, it shows that the reflecting surface will be inside of the mirror. Hence the mirror will be concave so,

Here is the answer:
The mirror would surely be a concave mirror, as the object should always be kept on same side the of the reflecting surface or opposite side of the polished surface. 

CASE FOR THE FORMATION OF IMAGE: The object i.e AB is between the centre of curvature (C) and the Focus (F). The P is the pole of the mirror . 




In this case, the image (NM)  is formed behind the centre of curvature (C). This image is real, inverted and magnified.
