18. Why was the young seagull afraid? How did he feel when he was in flight and when his belly touched the green sea?

The young seagull was afraid of flying. He thought that he would fall into the vast expanse of sea beneath the cliff.
When he was in flight, a monstrous terror seized him and his heart stood still. After a moment, his fear disappeared and realised that he could fly. He was screaming happily. He was frightened when his feet sank into the green sea. When his belly touched the sea he was floating. He was tired and exhausted.
