DEFINE THE FOLLOWING TERMS:-

1.Respiration:- It is a process that involves  inhaling and exhaling of air. It provides oxygen to the body and removes carbon dioxide from the body. 

Cellular respiration is referred to as a process that involves breakdown of food with the help of oxygen to release energy.


2.Anaerobic respiration:- It  is the type of cell respiration that takes place in the absence of oxygen. This types of respiration occurs in yeast cells and our muscle cells after a strenuous exercise.

5.Photosynthesis:-  It is the process by which chlorophyll-containing cells synthesize food in the form of carbohydrates form carbon dioxide and water using sunlight.

Therefore, the raw materials required for photosynthesis are CO2 and H2O and the products formed are carbohydrates and O2.
