In axile placentation, the ovules are borne at or around the center of a compound ovary on an axis formed from joined septa. It is seen in compound ovaries that are divided by septa into a number of locules. Lupin has marginal placentation, Glorisa has parietal placentation. Rest all has axile placentation.
