The applications of concentration cells are;
1.A pH meter is a specific type of concentration cell that is used to determine the pH, or the acidity/basicity of a specific solution.
2. In reactions where ion selective electrodes are required, to bring on the electrolysis or any other electrochemical reaction, the concentration cells are used.
3. The lead acid battery used to provide the starting power in every automobile engine is a concentration cell.
Lead is present in different concentrations both the electrodes of the concentration cell.
