Approximately how many bacteria may be obtained from one bacterium in an hour?

Generally the mean division time for the bacteria is 20 minutes , if there is one bacterium then:
$1\stackrel{20 minutes}{\to } 2 \stackrel{40 minutes}{\to } 4 \stackrel{60 minutes }{\to } 8$
So 8 bacteria will be present at the end of  60 minutes.
