Aqua regia is a mixture of concentrated nitric acid and hydrochloric acid usually one part of the former to three parts of the latter by volume or we can say in the ratio 1:3. It can dissolve noble metals like gold and platinum.

Aqua regia is a mixture of dil. Hcl and dil. HNO3 in the ratio 3:1 respectively...
It is a highly fuming liquid and can dissolve platinum and gold.
