are bases corrosive in nature?

Any substance which is able to destroy, damage or deteriorate other substance when come in contact is said to be a corrosive in nature. 

Both strong acids and strong base are corrosive in nature. For example caustic soda (NaOH) and Caustic potash are well known corrosive base. But all bases are not corrosive.
