Are Carbonification and Carbonization the same? If No, then what is the difference?

Carbonization and Carbonification are different here.

Carbonization is the slow process in which organic matters like dead plants and animals converts into carbon. For example - Conversion of wood into coal is carbonization.
Carbonification is the process by which the vegetable substances of peat were transformed in the partial absence of air and under the influence of temperature and pressure throughout geological time into lignite and subsequently into coal.

but Carbonization is the conversion of organic matters like plants and dead animal remains into carbon through destructive distillation.
