Are detritus food chain and saprophytic food chain the same?

Yes, detritus and saprophytic food chain are the same. Detritus food chain starts with the dead organic matter and saprophytes consume dead organic matter. Example: dead leaf eaten by woodlouse which is further eaten up by blackbird. Woodlouse is the primary detritus feeder saprophyte and blackbird is the secondary detritus feeder saprophyte.
