Are Filicopsida and Pteropsida the same?

Dear Student, No filicopsida and pteripsida are not same. Pteropsida term was used earlier for All types of vascular plants that is Pteridophytes, gymnosperms and angiosperms while filicopsida is the class of pteridophytes that contains ferns and does not include the flowering plants. Regards
