Are oscillatory and vibratory motion same indeed or is there a difference between them??Explain clearly plzz

Dear student,
Please find below the answer:

Oscillatory motion is a to and fro motion whereas vibratory motion is when a body moves to and fro in its mean position.
The oscillatory motion refers to the motion in which the object moves back and forth repeatedly. Example: Motion of a pendulum.

The vibratory motion refers to the to and fro motion of a particle (microscopic or macroscopic) about its mean position. The amplitude of the motion, in this case, is generally very small compared to the dimensions of the particle.

Hope this information clears your doubt.
Regards.
