At what distance is the radial probability maximum for 1s orbital? What is this distance called?

           For 1s orbital, the maximum radial probability ( the distance at which the electron is most likely to be found ) occurs at a distance of 5.29 x 10-2nm
or 0.529 angstrom, from the nucleus. This distance is exactly same as the radius of the innermost orbit in the Bohr model and hence is called Bohr radius.

           Electron is assumed to have a circular path and hence is found at this distance, known as the most probable distance at which the electron is most likely to be found.
