At which point did Gandhiji think that the Battle of Champaran was won?

Pls ans urgently with reference to the chapter 'Indigo'

Dear Student,

Prominent lawyers like Rajendra Prasad had come to Motihari for advising Mahatma Gandhi. When Mahatma Gandhi asked them what would they do if he was arrested, they replied that they would go home. Mahatma Gandhi was disillusioned with the answer and pointed out that their primary duty was towards the sharecroppers who had suffered at the hands of the Britishers. The lawyers realised that should stand in support of their clients. Thus, they told Mahatma Gandhi that they would follow him into jail if he was arrested. The Mahatama was now happy with the show of support extended by the lawyers and exclaimed that the Battle of Champaran was won.
