Attempt a sketch of an accomplished anglerrr?

Dear Student,
Given below is the answer to your question.

In the chapter, the author talks about an angler who narrates his story in humility, though he is bragging about it. The old man listens to the stories narrated by the young men and then slowly, with a tone of least interest, tells them how he had been fishing through the afternoon without any luck, except for a few dozen dace and a score of jack and as he prepared to leave, he felt a tugging on the line. He recalled that he could not move the line and that it took him almost half- an- hour to pull out the forty pound sturgeon to the shore and the sight of the fish amazed him. The man seems to be exaggerating about his catch, which at the same time, makes it obvious that he is lying.
