AUGGACCUGATAUUUUGA is the base sequence in a strand on m rna.

Question

1) write the base sequence of the dna strand from which it has been transcribed.

2)upon translation how many amino acid will the resulting peptide have?

1.The DNA strand which serve as a template for the synthesis of given mRNA is 3'-TACCTGGACTATAAAACT-5'
The mRNA strand is as follows 5'-AUGGACCUGATAUUUUGA-3'
2.There are 18 nucleotide bases and 3 nucleotides together form a codon which will code for a particular amino acid. So there are 6 codons which will form a peptide of 6 amino acids.
