Bhavana bougt a pencil and a eraser for $8.50 she gave $10 to the shopkeeper .the shopkeeper gave back the coins of 50 paisa how many coins did he receive??plz ans me fast

Dear Student,
Assuming your question to be "Bhavana bought a pencil and a eraser for Rs.8.50 she gave Rs.10 to the shopkeeper .the shopkeeper gave back the coins of 50 paisa how many coins did she receive?"
Solution)  Cost of a pen and a pencil = Rs.8.50
Total money given to the shopkeeper = Rs.10
So, total money returned to Bhavana by the shopkeeper = Rs.10 − Rs. 8.50= Rs.1.50
But shopakeeper gave only 50 paise.
So, Coins she received =

=Rs1.5050p{because 1rs.=100p}=15050=3coinsor Rs1=50p+50p{because 1rs.=100p=50p+50p}now, shopkeeper gave  50p extraSo, there are 3coins of 50paiseRegards!
