Both bacteria and amoeba are single celled yet are placed in different kingdoms. Give reasons.

This is due to the reason that bacteria is prokaryote having cell wall whereas Amoeba is eukaryote and does not possess cell wall. That is why bacteria is placed in monera and Amoeba is placed in protista under the five kingdom classification.
