Hydroponics is a technique of growing plants by suspending them with their roots in a nutrient solution. This method allows the plant to grow well if it receives the nutrient it needed. In this technique,element is added/substituted/removed or given in varied concentration to check its essentiality for the growth of plant. Also, the deficiency symptoms due to absence of an element are observed. All this help to determine mineral nutrients required by plants.Thus it helps to determine what nutrients are essential for plant growth.
