As <ABC = 90, then it is sure that AC is diameter of the circle
AC^2 = AB^2 + BC^2 = 8^2 + 6^2 = 10^2
So diameter AC = 10 cm
Radius = 5 cm
Area of circle = pi r^2 = 22/7 * 25 = 78.57 cm^2
Area of rectangle = 8 * 6 = 48 cm^2
Hence area of shaded portion = 78.57 - 48 = 30.57 cm^2
