calculate the total molarity and normality of all the ions present in a solution containing 0.1M CuSO4 and 0.1M Al2(SO4)3

1. Molarity is same for all the ions in a homogeneous solution.
   Normality = Molarity × Charge(or valency)

2. Molarity and Normality of the ions in 0.1M CuSO4  is :

              Molarity of Cu2+ =  0.1 M                       Normality of Cu2+ = 2 ×0.1= 0.2 M
             Molarity of SO42- = 0.1 M                        Normality of SO42- = 2 ×0.1 = 0.2 M

3. Molarity and Normality of the ions in 0.1M Al2(SO4)3 is :

           Molarity of Al3+ = 0.1 M                           Normality of Al3+ = 3 × 0.1 = 0.3 M
          Molarity of SO42- = 0.1 M                        Normality of SO42- = 2 ×0.1 = 0.2 M
