can anyone answer me this question from physical education chapter 7 :

calculate the physical fitness index using formula for a 12 year old boy having completed Harvard step test for a duration of 3 minutes and a pulse rate of 54 beats for 1 to 1.5minute??

please explain with formula (do not give just answer)......ASAP....

(do not consider subject and chapter i have chosen......meritnation do not teach physical education,so i have to choose any one subject and any one chapter...)

are you kidding me? why are you doing numerical problems in P.E?They are never asked in the exam.

nmrcl cmes in physcl edu..

100×3 (60)/2×54
100×18000/108
166.67

I had the same doubt.. The theory states that the addition of the heart beats has to be calculated in the formula. They have just give heart beat of 1 time duration.. Infact there should have been 3 time durations.. Therefore the physical fitness index cannot be more than 100..

The same ques is in our preboard paper but cant solve it but the answer is 4.28  surely but i also dont know how ??

The same question was given in the Model Year Paper for P.E. 2015. I was trying to solve the same, but couldn't. However, can we assume the succeeding pulse rates on the basis of assumptions? That might help.

It could be done by:
30000/(3*54)

The  formula for this question is :-
100 * time duration for which test done in seconds / 5.5 * heartbeat for 1 to 1.5 minutes
hence using this formula = 100* 3*60              18000
                                           —————    =    ———— = 60.6
                                          5.5 *54                      297

Calculate the physical fitness index score of 16 year old boy having completed Harvard step test
for the duration of five minute and the resting pulse rate of 75 72 and 71.
