There are a few speeches that are considered to be historically important and famous. Each of these are famous for their own reasons and one cannot pick the "best" speech from them without being subjective.
1. Martin Luther King's "I have a dream" from 1963.
2. Winston Churchill's "We shall fight them on the beaches" from 1940
3. Abraham Lincoln's "Gettysburg Address" from 1863
4. King George VI's "Wartime radio broadcast" from 1939
5. M.K. Gandhi's "Quit India" from 1942
6. J Nehru's "Tryst with Destinty" from 1947.
