No, Paramecium does not have the ablity to change shape unlike Amoeba.The only unicellular organism which continuously change its shape is Amoeba. Amoeba keeps on changing its shape by producing various projections across its cell surface, which is called pseudopodia. These projections help the Amoeba in feeding and moving. Other unicellular protozoa have definite shape like paramecium is slipper like in shape. It has a stiff and elastic membrane supporting the cell membrane called pellicle, that gives it definite shape.
