Can simple form of verbs be used in place of continuous form:-
eg-
1) I will sing at tomorrows concert.
    I will be singing at tomorrows concert.
2) He did his homework yesterday.
    He was doing his homework yesterday.

' I will sing at tomorrow concert' shows that you have planned to sing (the next day) in the future.
'I will be singing' shows that the act of singing will be ongoing some time in the future.
Simple future tense and future continuous tense are not interchangeable.
