CAN THE ALTITUDE AND MEDIAN BE SAME FOR A TRIANGLE ?????

In isosceles triangle only 1 median and altitude are same and,

In equilateral triangle all are same.

Yes in a equilateral Triangle its median and altitude are same.

This is possible only if the triangle is an equilateral or isoceles triangle as 3 and 2 sides have the same lenght.But it is not possible in a scalene triange as all the sides have different lenghts.

The altitude and median of a triangle can be the same in case of right angled triangle, equilateral triangle and isoceles triangle.
