Friedel Craft reaction can be shown by alkenes. Friedel Craft reaction is electrophilic addition reaction. An electrophilic centre is generated in alkenes when they reaction with the catalyst and thus, the alkenes now acts as an electrphile and attack on the benzene ring. Both cis as well as trans alkene can show this reaction.
