can u store copper sulphate solution in zinc pot?

Copper sulphate solution cannot be stored in zinc pot.

This is because, the metal zinc is more reactive than copper and hence, it will displace copper from copper sulphate solution to form zinc sulphate. The following reaction will take place.

Zn + CuSO₄ → ZnSO₄ + Cu
