Can we mutate a human by adding certain genes of some other animal ??

​​​​​​Mutations and creating transgenics are two different things. 

Further, it is not that easy to cause any kind of genomic changes in humans due to the following reasons:
1) Humans are the most complex eukaryote, therefore, manipulations are not easy.
2) Gene which is being inserted should have all the properties and it must not be a lethal or otherwise gene. 
3) Being complex genomic organisation it will very difficult to accurately find the position of the insertion.
4) If anyway you have inserted the gene. screening of the transgenic will be very cumbersome.
